The Purchase winter blues can kill romance fast, especially with 99% of the population hiding in hibernation. Luckily, I’ve made the perfect recipe to set the mood- a trail mix better known as “Midnight Desire.” This snack is the perfect way to arouse your taste buds and your partner (their taste buds, of course). Taking only five minutes to prepare and with all of the ingredients found a shuttle ride away at Stop and Shop, it’s hard to refuse. Relax, enjoy and kiss the blues goodbye!
Midnight Desire
1. Take a large bowl and pour in a little less than half a big bag of the pretzels of your choice.
2. Pour in a small tin of almonds and a package of dried cranberries.
3. Next, take a package of Nestle semi-sweet chocolate morsels and put them in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Heat them up with an occasional stirring every thirty seconds, until melted. Make sure to not forget about it because no one wants burnt chocolate!
4. While the chocolate is melting you can crumble up a four to six Nature’s Valley Honey and Oats granola bars into the bowl.
5. Last but not least, once the chocolate is melted douse the ingredients in the bowl with it and mix it up. Place in the refrigerator for ten to 20 minutes in order for the chocolate to harden and you are all set!
